Pharmacy Programs?

Hi, I just started my senior year in high school and over the summer a career as a pharmacist captured my attention. I am a science and art oriented guy and chemistry is my best subject, I'm okay at math (I only like doing it if it involves science lol). My current overall, unweighted GPA is a 3.1--in my freshman year, I had a idgaf attitude and nearly got all D's with a few F's and C's, but by sophomore year till now, Ive had all A's except for like 3 B's. Ive retaken some classes for GPA recovery (still waiting on summer school to send in my transcript), so my 3.1 isn't my final GPA yet, but it likely won't jump to a 3.6 or something. My 10-12th GPA though is 3.71. I'm planning to apply to University of Pacific's prepharmacy program and hopefully graduate pharmacy school in 6 (or even 7) years. But I'm afraid I might not be accepted into the actual program... So my other choice is applying to SFSU or USF, major in chemistry while doing my pre-req for pharmacy school and apply to UCSF's pharm school. I know I'd have to work hard though and unfortunately, this path would take me 8 years. Btw, I live in southern california... should I just stay in my hometown and get my pre reqs done in like CSUN or some other school down here?

I wouldn’t worry too much about your grades from your high school Freshman year…Pharmacy schools are primarily going to look at your college grades and your score on the Pharmacy College Admissions Test.
