I am junior at a high school and I’ve just gained some interest in Pharmacy. I saw many posts about how expensive the pharmacy schools are but never seen anyone talk about getting any scholarship. Is there a scholarship for 0-6 pharmacy program?
At the University of South Carolina if you receive a 4 year scholarship the scholarship is good for your first two years of pharmacy school. You would then have year 5 and 6 but they have additional scholarships for the students in these years.
Yes. Some schools do offer scholarships. Ohio Northern, Northeastern for example do. Duquesne offers scholarships for six years. My D is at University of Pittsburgh with a full tuition scholarship, but it’s a 2+4 program. She has conditional admission to pharmacy school.
Your first look should be to pharmacy schools in your own state because OOS tuition can be very high. Unless you get a major scholarship at another school and it’s good for 4-6 years.
