Just want to see what other people thinks. After the virus, I really want the kid to be close to home. I watched the virtual comment of the President of Exterer - it feels like he’s not that impressive. That’s another reason I’m a little bit hesitating.
2nd question is, is it worthwhile to attend those Summer online program offered by those boarding school? They’re quite expensive and I don’t know how’s the quality of those vs. other online programs.
Many thanks for discussion!
Sounds like you don’t want your child to attend If that’s the case, then don’t.
Depends on why s/he was going in the first place. What are your other options? What was Exeter going to give your son/daughter that they would not have at home? Is there a financial consideration either due to Covid or you think that it might not be worth it because things have changed and classes may be online? Are there other options for grade 10? We can’t answer for you because we don’t know your child.
I mean, I think Exeter is worth it. Almost every student I know adores Exeter.
However, like HappyTimes says, it’s mostly a question of you and your situation. If your DC was going for reasons that have somehow been invalidated/are not worth it in light of COVID-19, then don’t let them go.
