HAHA thats so funny. I think thats cool though, As long as your passionate about the school and showed them that, you’ll get in. By reading this thread I can already tell you have excellent credentials

You’re so kind; your words are honestly helping me get through this scary and exciting process. I am sure you will get into Exeter though. I look forward to possibly being future classmates! You’re so determined and you LOVE Exeter and you would obviously thrive there! Well now we have got to sit here and wait for M10. I am going to die from impatience.

Trust me, Ive been through this enough. Last year was a disappointment but it me to improve my application and my passion for the school. That would be awesome if were future classmates! May be we will be on the same sports team or clubs! What sports do you play?

Seeing as I needed to get in shape, I have not played any sports which may hurt me in admissions. But I have been improving my health and I think I will take up track and field in the spring. I somewhat enjoy running. What sports do you play?

THIS IS NOT EVEN FUNNY!! IM A RUNNER! I was on my schools JV cross country and outdoor track, but I skipped indoor so I can do applications. So now I am trying to get myself into shape! My advice is to keep a target mile, dont give up no matter how hard it is. Running is a very mental and physical sport so what I did what run 1 mile for a week, run 1.5 a week, and so on until I got to five for the whole summer. Then when cross country started I had a 6:26 mile, and by the end of the season I got a six. Now I am aiming for a 5:30. So ill you need to do is try your best and dont let yourself procrastinate!

WOAH! That is so freaking awesome!! You obviously accomplished a lot and it is really inspiring, especially when one feels like stopping when the running is starting to get a bit more intense. I think I will follow your plan (definitely not expecting to reach a 6 minute mile hahaha). Not to be weird or anything but you are such an awesome person haha.

Thank you! Good luck on your application and your running!

Ok… guys tell me that I am not the only one who hasnt sent their essays… OMG i am so freaked out right now…

And what have you taken from Exeter?? I have taken 3 letters so far…
Oh and I also play sports Varsity volleyball, in a prof. junior volley club. And i also play the violin… Do you play any instruments??
And how did the SSAT go BHADES?

Hahahaha nope! I have not sent in mine either! So darn scared of them not being good enough! I probably sound like a dingus in them, oh Lord help me!!! RockComet, so let me get this straight, you love love love astrophysics AND you play the violin??? No way, I played it in middle school but quit due to reasons. You are brilliant btw, I have no doubt about the fact that you and BHADES will gain admission! Ah!!! Bless CC!

Haha @RocketComet I was beginning to think I was the only one who hadn’t sent in my essays! @LaDiDaLaDiDa I’m sure you’ll get in even as an applicant for upper year. Did you take the SSATs or did you submit PSAT scores?

I submitted PSAT scores. Are you applying for upper year as well?

No I’m applying for lower just like @BHADES. I hope to see you next year as a fellow Exonian!

Ahh!! Awesome!! I hope to see you as a fellow Exonian as well!

THank you!!! I haven’t sent in my essays either. Working on them as we speak. I actually haven’t recieved any letters about my activity’s, may be when I go to my interview (which I haven’t had yet) I will. Also my SSAT went ok. Math I think I did excellent, Reading ok, Verbal TERRIBLE. I guessed on every single one haha

No worries! If your math was excellent, I would not worry. Exeter seems to appreciate mathematical ability. I can be looked at as a joke because my PSAT W and CR scores are in the 96th and 97th percentile when I am really sure I want to pursue physics. My math score is embarrassing, but I hope they understand that I am doubling up in maths this year. I think they will understand your situation, BHADES. You are an excellent candidate and you have applied before . You are committed and absolutely brilliant. Don’t worry too much (pffttt we are all anxious about M10)!

I also did excellent in math, as its always been my strongest point. I think i did well in the reading section … and i…i dont know how i did in the verbal. i omitted 10 questions and maybe did a mistake on 2 or 3 others… Is there still hope for me? :((
But i think that the math score will back up my math olympiad prizes and that would help me right… godddd i have to write those essays… Guys how do you handle the stress at this period of time!!!.. ._. :P

btw i hope you all submit wonderful app and all gain admission :D

please help, seriously. I am SO STRESSED. Midterms next week, applicatoin next week. ESSAYS now. someone help. I am have my topics but I have no idea how to put them into words!

@BHADES. Just relax and get something on paper. From there you can edit, revise and improve.

Thank you @needtoboard. My major weakness in my academics has always been writing. I am independent in all my subjects but writing I suffer major writers block. I have ben improving but I think it just puts extra weight since it is for my applications.
