Hi there @NEbarnacle , we missed Rising Phoenix weekend bc of last minute conflicts. I was a hoping my S would meet some kids & possibly a roommate but we didn’t get there. Was it very social? Where are you all living ? We are down in FL 
It was a pretty busy weekend. They didn’t really have a lot of social time other than a reception at the end of the first day. My son did meet a bunch of kids so the next day we ran into a lot of familiar faces. That was nice. He wants a random roommate. Some of the tour guides said that they tended to work out better because you don’t have the “we’re going to be best friends” expectation. If you are, that’s great, but often people you think you have a lot in common with, might not necessarily be easy to live with.
We are from Maine and actually met a lot of kids from MA and CT and NC. Everyone was really friendly. We went to the Business presentation and it was great to hear that they have tons of internship options and that many of the kids had jobs lined up priormto graduation!
