<p>Hi guys.</p>
<pre><code> So, I'm applying to universities in the next few weeks (to study BFA photography) and I don't know where I stand. Some days I think I have a good chance of getting into a decent photography school and other days I think I will always be in community college.
I spent my senior year of high school abroad in New Zealand (I also did an exchange to Germany in the 8th grade, should I say this in my college essay?) I took all AP classes including 4 years of German. My school didn't have many artistic classes however I was an editor for the yearbook team (editor for my New Zealand yearbook also), took Fundamentals of Art, Digital Photography I, Sculptures, Drawing&Design, Journalism, and Art History as far as the art classes go. I've also taken an intensive PhotoShop course and Digital Photography course within my art community council where I live. A few of my photographs will be showcased in my town for the First Friday Art Walk coming up for the August show. I was apart of the National Honor Society, I'm currently a member of the Photographic Society of America, and a member of the Lebanon Photography Club (my town).

<p>I've participated in the United Day of Caring since I was in the 7th grade, and other volunteering tributes (the list is way too long). I also managed to run cross country and play field hockey throughout my high school years. I was awarded with a few things in New Zealand (my New Zealand school) for my photographs too.</p>
<p>My SAT scores aren't really exceptional. My score is 1,560 and I've taken it 3 times now. Since I have duel citizenship in both the US and Britain, I will be applying to schools both in the US and England and possibly Paris (money is possibly a problem. I don't want to be in debt for the rest of my life). </p>

(I realize my chances are very slim, I just thought what can I lose? I have a few backups that I know I can get into) (If you have any other suggestions for applying places especially abroad, they are welcomed. Both of my parents really want me to go abroad.)</p>

<p>I'm not putting up any "eye candy" shots for F.I.T because they base solely on creativity. If you think it sucks, say so. Please don't sugar coat anything- I can take the heat :) Thanks so much anyone and everyone!</p>
