Wow, that is beautiful! What a lovely gift. Well done!
I am very impressed!
Thank you!
Oh, that is perfectly beautiful and meaningful and lovely.
From one watercolor artist to another…gorgeous! Watercolor is hard because it’s a moving medium and you can really predict what will happen.
I think your daughter will love this!
Happy painting!
Yes, it’s definitely hard to control! I went over some sections so many times and still didn’t get the result I wanted! But I’m pretty happy with my first effort.
I’m not sure I could pull off a landscape. It looks so complicated with all the layering.
There’s more than one way to do a landscape. I’m actually working hard at getting them simpler. Few layers. Like this:
Nice! Thanks for the inspiration!
I really like your bird. I don’t even try to do them in watercolors! (I’ve painted a fair number though in my Ink Painting classes, birds aren’t easy.)
Absolutely beautiful!
Wow!
That is stunningly beautiful! I read your post and scrolled down looking for the watercolor; when I couldn’t find it, I reread your post - it took me a minute to realize THIS is the watercolor - I thought it was a photograph. Gorgeous!!! You are very talented.
You made my day! Thank you!
Last pic is Tips, right? Same scene last April. They do some serious BBQ out there.
very beautiful pics!
Starting my holiday cards! Pulled out the metallics for some added fun. As always some turn out better than others but they’re hand painted, so there’s that.
