Please don’t let him go without a goodbye pic!

He took his first official walk outside of a stall and pasture today on just his third day of “school” with just half hour classes each day. He’s definitely a gifted academic learner having 100% retention of his lessons from one day to the next. That makes him super pleasant to work with.

As a photographer I get a B though. I missed catching him standing perfectly. He’s raising one front leg, but in general, one can still see him so it works enough. I’m pretty sure I have a buyer lined up, but nothing is official until paperwork is signed.

He’s going to make a great kid’s pony. He’ll love his kid as much as they’ll love him.

Here’s a picture of a tree in our yard looking out from our barn. Once again, the camera doesn’t do justice to it. Other years have been prettier though.

I have a couple updated pics of Doc too. He seems quite happy in his new home. He has a kid to call his own, but I don’t feel right sharing pics of her online.

When D2 got her junior hunter horse our trainer found him in Florida in December of 2008 and he was coming to our barn in January 2009 so I put a chestnut stuffed pony in D2’s stocking for Christmas that year to surprise her. It was the best Christmas ever (she still says that today at 27 years old) getting a “pony” for Christmas!

Lol. I almost needed Wild Turkey yesterday when my tractor broke down mowing the slope in the picture.

Well the buyer who was interested in Rez only wants to pay 1K for him because winter is coming. I’m going to be advertising him for 1.5K first to see if we get it. He’s a nice pony for someone - not a top of the line mover, but not awful either. Perhaps someone will get a bay stuffed pony for Christmas. :grinning: If not, 1K will put him into a decent (show/dealer) home.
