I saw your response. I figured it was somewhere in Arizona, but I couldn’t quite pinpoint where! I’ve only seen the Superstition Mountains from a distance…so it was neat to see them from a different vantage point.

Another sign I love:

And another terrific beach - snorkeling was great today with tons of turtles, rays, and fish (including a huge one). Go out beyond the swim markers. Lindquist Beach if anyone ends up wanting to find it.

Great! I think my original Trader Joe plant that bloomed in December and that I set up outside is forming another bud.

Had an absolute crap day, but I did catch a stunning sunset on the road, so not all bad.

So we saw our neighbor while walking our dog and I asked how BB got in and out of the bed.

Immediate and dead pan response was “we give him a piggy back”.

I previously liked these people I now really like them!!

So no real answer after that?

They pick him up (apparently he has no lift when trying to jump and a very low center of gravity) but he jumps off the bed to a loud thump we are told.

So cute. I don’t have much pig experience but the oink sound and upward pointing snout is awesome.

The Dead River, not far from our cabin. It really is remote, so we have to be careful. The snow was so deep on our hill that DH had a hard time getting up it on our snowmobile. He broke the trail but I was still nervous so I walked up instead of riding.

Gorgeous photo. Nothing “dead” about that river.

Thank you for sharing.

It’s spectacular, really. I will look at it more than once for sure.

Not quite as spectacular, but right from my front porch when I went to grab the mail.

It was actually more colorful but somehow the phone washed out the color of the setting sun in the blue sky.

Spent the day exploring St John from Cruz Bay to Coral Bay + a little extra and some beach/snorkeling time at Trunk Bay. It’s as gorgeous as everyone says it is. Parking is atrocious on both islands though - and the hill roads here are not for the weak stomached!

This guy was right along the road coming over as we slowed for a turn on the East End:

These were my “guys” taking pics and being mesmerized:

This is just another spot of sheer beauty from above - there are plenty, though not always spots to take pics from:

And famous Trunk Bay:

Looks beautiful in spite of 1 photo being a guys backside and another being a total ass😀

We always took the jitney’s. Much nicer than worrying about parking!
