NYC skyline and clouds. Sunday afternoon.
Unedited shots taken a few minutes apart showing the glow of the sunset. We’re in a saddle between two low hills so don’t see the sunset directly but often have spectacular color from it.
That’s just gorgeous, we’re usually on our way home by sunset, but it’s a reminder we should stick around!
How interesting! Thanks for sharing.
Yes, we drove two hours each way to eat at a Pizza Hut. But, it was renovated like the 1980s! It was our anniversary dinner - fitting for us. $19 before a very large tip
Really??!!! Our Pizza Huts still look like that. A car drove into one earlier this week. Note the triangular windows!
You’re lucky. All of our eat in places closed. Just take out in a strip mall. And if you find a sit down, it doesn’t have the stain glass lamps H likes - and a juke box lol
Fantastic photos!!! I am so jealous! My son is visiting Spain this summer with some of his friends. I told him he has got to visit this area.
We are big hikers and this blows away everywhere else we’ve been, including the Swiss Alps. It’s breathtaking. We are on the French side but hope to hike into Spain tomorrow.
Wow. I had no idea the French side looked like that!
We had a pretty big storm this evening, and this was one of the most interesting clouds I’ve ever seen; it was like a rainbow blowout with an elephant coming out of the cloud. Edited to add: apparently it was a fire rainbow.
Lake Louise, Banff National Park, Alberta. The turquoise color of the water cannot be adequately represented in a photo. It was quite windy–the bows of those canoes were bobbing up and down–paddling must have been an ordeal!
We had a wonderful Christmas stay at lake Louise in December 2019. So our kids ice skated on that same lake! We have not had a family vacation since that Christmas thanks to Covid.
