Our cottage we owned was about 20ish minutes south of Goodrich. It really is a beautiful area - the sunsets can’t be beat! It’s such a good representation of small town/village life in Canada.
Be sure to stop in Bayfield as well - and side trip to London or Stratford!
A tiny red spotted newt my husband saw on a walk in our neighborhood. He said it was about an inch long. I looked it up and this is the terrestrial juvenile called a red eft. It can spend up to three years in this stage of development. The adult, below, is aquatic, a bit larger and drab green in color (photo not my own).
