Both pics are very nice. I’d think about where you want to put it, and let that help inform your decision.

Absolutely love the cows and the sunset…

I also think it is a great photo because it opens up a diverse range of frames. You could go modern, antique, anything although I would suggest like a rustic wood grain style…

I’m pretty sure it’s going in the sitting room in the master bedroom. Lots of different shades of silvery blue-grey (walls, bedspread, curtains) so it could do w/ a splash of color.

This is such a great shot!! Love the colors too

The sky just after sunset is the most rich and vibrant blue. I love it so much even in not so pretty pics- I literally snapped pics of the grocery store the other day because I loved the colors. Ha!

Love the second photo. Animals, mountains, sunset, fence post & wire all combine to make an interesting photo. Really relaxing.

We took a walk by the bay and saw one of the two amphibious transport dock ships (San Diego and Somerset) that returned from a seven month deployment earlier this week.

We had a great day visiting Singer and Boldt Castles (via tour boat) on the St Lawrence River yesterday. If anyone wants to see what is arguably the prettiest river in the world (must have a sunny day) and over 1000 Islands within it, taking a boat tour or two while here is well worth the expense. I’ve done it multiple times before and went into it thinking it would be “ho hum,” but we were introducing two DILs and one GF to it for the first time. There was nothing “ho hum” about it. The beauty on a sunny day is gorgeous and mesmerizing.

A few of the many islands within the river:

This was the tour boat from high up in Singer Castle:

This is how close the freighters go from Heart Island (where Boldt Castle is):

This was H on his sailboat a couple days ago - we brought it here with us, and while that is Canada on the other shore, it’s an island, not the mainland:

Normally we would have gone to Canada too (not via boat tour). If folks come here and Canada reopens, it’s super easy to get there via bridge or ferry.

A beautiful sky full of stars the other night- my daughter and I have taken to late night walks around our neighborhood. And, I’ve finally gotten to see a tardis in person! Doctor Who is my favorite show and I was so excited to go take a pic inside this today.

My daughter performed her last two shows with her professional ballet company this weekend. While we waited for her to change we got to enjoy the lovely sunset on the water. It was amazing for her final weekend of shows to be sold out, in-person, and without the dancers masked… a great cap to the year. Bittersweet though- wasn’t there for the last show because it sold out before I snagged tickets.

While shopping, this amazing vehicle was spotted in a parking lot. Yes, that is indeed a skeleton dog in the passenger seat.

Two grandkittens entered our lives this past Wednesday. The “tree” they are in was passed down from my mom to my son after she’d used it for years for three of her cats (also deceased). It’s very uplifting to me to see the next generation enjoying it as much as the past ones. I’m sure mom is watching and enjoying her great grandkitties.

It’s definitely not just expensive heirlooms that memories are made from.

Mika and Katara respectively (orange and calico). They were named after characters in books the lad enjoyed as a child.

We just left them yesterday to return to our house. I miss them already. They’re young, but they love people so if they aren’t playing, they’re hopping up on your lap, chest, or computer to sleep.

Our cat here at home looks huge now and his playful kitten days are long past. Sadly a neighbor’s cat gave him some sort of herpes virus he can’t kick (permanent cold symptoms) so we can’t have other cats around us until he crosses the Rainbow Bridge. 90% of cats who get it get over it, but there’s that other 10% and he drew the short straw. I don’t want any other cat to take their chances from him.

On our trip from Phoenix to Maine, we spent a few days in Michigan and visited Greenfield Village and the Henry Ford Museum (as we always do). DH thinks this is the best car in the museum:

But I think it’s this one:

And we visited the Martha-Mary chapel in the village where we were married 40 years ago this coming October:

My son texted me a new grandkitten photo. Mika got in there all by herself. She sure knows how to be adorable!
