I got a new pair of green glasses last week, and today went outside and saw this guy following the trend! :joy:

Dropped my daughter off the for her transfer orientation this morning. The whole trip was a mess, to the point where I actually have to come back in a week to move in the majority of her stuff, but there was definitely still beauty to be seen in the day!

I expect many pics of dogs today as it is National Dog Day. However, it is also Play Music on the Porch Day! You can search the hashtag #playmusicontheporch on social media platforms and find musicians from all over the world playing all styles of music with all types of instrumentation.

Here I am on my porch!

The pups in the window! What a great series!!

Finally got a full view of our new deer family. They’ve been bedding down in the woods behind the house, so we’ve never gotten a good look at the piebald fawn. Not a good shot, but it was dusk & we were on the golf cart.

That’s not you?

I was lucky not to get hurt taking the photo. Pictures don’t do this justice.

Idalia impact along a spot on the Suncoast of Florida

Passed around 125 miles to our west. Much more of a surge event than a wind event for this area of Florida.

Hope everyone is safe and ok!!

I LOVE the Jersey shore and have deep roots there. This was the first year in…forever?..that I wasn’t able to spend any summer days there.

Love the photos!

Beautiful night at the US Open :tennis:

Enjoy!! We were there last night.

This was likely Venus playing her last US Open point.

Carlos Alcatraz is very impressive.

Unfortunately Venus lost and the men’s match cut short by injury.

Our particular area was lucky. Lots of flooding to nearby communities to the north and south of us but not where we are. Lots of damage and erosion to all the beaches everywhere, though.

There was much more devastation upstate :frowning:
