PHY2049 or MAC2313 over Summer?

Hello, I plan to take summer class at UF. I am a Mechanical Engineer major. In the summer I plan on taking Design Manufacturing Laboratory (EML2322L). As for the other course I am stuck between taking PHY2049 Physics 2 with calculus or MAC2313 Calculus 3. I have talked to some people and some say there isn’t too much Calculus 3 in Physics 2 and I could probably get by without having taken Cal 3. I’d prefer this as I know physics 2 is definitely a harder class so taking it over the summer I think will help me since I can focus on it. But if there is too much I’d miss without having calculus 3 then I don’t want to do that. Any opinions?

Take Physics 2, Cal 3 isn’t a pre-requisite. If you’re using Bright Futures, then make sure you take 6 credits (anything less and it doesn’t pay). DML= 2 credits, Physics 2 = 3 credits Physics 2 lab = 1 credit for a total of 6 credits.

Considering how rigorous those two classes are, you really don’t want to take anything more over the summer.

FYI, I’m sure you’re already have this, but just in case…

Good Luck!
