What are common classes taken to fill this requirement?

Yoga, Tai Chi, Healthy Weight Healthy You… People like one Professor named “Talks to Trees.”

are there classes that are more appealing to guys? <_<

Tree Climbing, Hiking, Scuba, Kayaking (not offered all the time), Triathalon Training, Swiming, Karate…

Lifeguard training, weight training, running. Do they still offer skiing? You can also take non phys ed type classes like nutrition.

Skiing is offered, but it doesn’t actually give you the GenEd requirements that the op is probably looking for.

I took Wellness Through Weight Training. It’s basically just go into a gym and use whatever weights/machines that you want. The wellness part is the professor tells you stuff about what’s healthy/not. It’s fairly basic information that I would expect anyone to already know, but you’ll have short “lectures” about it at the beginning of class and a multiple choice midterm/final on it.

Bootes, is the class intense? I’m down to workout but I’m not very devoted to that type of stuff and I probably wouldn’t take it very seriously. Are most of the kids that take it kids that are buff and really care about their workout regimen? Thanks

It was a mix, but the class is as intense as you make it. The people who are really into it, already have workout regimens and don’t care too much about the class. The people who don’t, probably don’t care too much about the class either.

You get to choose what weights to use, so you can use lighter weights if you want. Just as long as you show up and do something you’ll do well.

is there a wrestling class or something?
