Physics at Brandeis

DS is choosing between Brandeis and Haverford. What are your thoughts on the Brandeis physics program?

Reviving this question, though not with regard to Haverford specifically. Any thoughts, general or specific, with regard to the Physics Department at Brandeis?

Research opportunities, professor accessibility, etc. etc. Also interested in math and CS, but mostly physics.

If you check out the roster of physics graduate schools attended by the last five classes of Brandeis undergrads, you will note Harvard, Brown, Dartmouth, University of Chicago, UPenn, UC’s Santa Barbara, Berkeley, Yale, Cornell, Univ of New Mexico, U of Texas. Research opps for undergrads are virtually unsurpassed. Plus they make sure you do research in multiple areas so that you can be well rounded when you prepare for grad school.
