Alright... let's see who's the smartest one of them all. Just kidding, but I find it difficult to learn physics from a Pakistani teacher who doesn't even understand simple questions. Moving on to the actual problem.

You've got two pool balls, one at rest, one in motion, of equal mass. The first pool ball glances the second pool ball, while moving at 4.00 m/s. The first ball then goes at a 30 degree angle blah blah. The question said to find the angle at which the 2nd ball went (angle below the x axis I assume, yes?). It asked for the final velocities of each ball, and if it was an elastic or inelastic collison.

I got slightly distracted when I tried doing the problem. See, thinking of two pool balls smashing into one another got me thinking about that blue chalk stuff, you know? And that chalk would look hilarious if someone decided to draw on someones face with it. Hah
