Physics C Topics

My Physics C teacher said that she will be including several "special topics" that may not pertain to the AP exam. Here's a partial list:
Elasticity
Gauss' Law for gravity
Damped SHM
Forced Oscillations, Resonance
Standing Waves
Transverse Waves
Energy transport in waves
Wave Equation
Longitudinal Waves
Beats, harmonics
Intensity
Gauss' law with dielectrics
AC circuits
EM waves, polarization, energy transport, radiation pressure
Heat, thermodynamics, kinetic gas theory, and statistical mechanics were also on the list.

Which of these topics will be on the AP exam?

All topics covered in AP Physics C are outlined on the College Board website.

Most of that (and anything related to EM waves) is not on the AP Physics C E&M exam. Some of the simpler concepts that those expand on can appear though, i.e. Gauss’s Law itself and how to use it with Gaussian surfaces to explain electric fields, etc., but they wouldn’t relate it to gravity on the E&M exam.
