Physics CP, NOT Honors?

hey guys=)

I got a course conflict and i was unable to take physics honors, and ended up in physics CP. but i want to major in engineering, so will this essential science couse hurt my chances when applying beacuse i will apply as an engineer major but all my math and scicence courses are CP( chem CP, alg. 2 CP, precalc.), not honors. i will take AP physcis next year, and i wanted to konw if taking CP this year would affects my admissions decisions at all, for colleges like UCB, LA and maybe stanford( i doubt it?) thanks=)

If you’re a junior then yes it will affect you because you should be taking the most rigorous courses possible if you want to get in those schools. If you’re a freshman or sophomore you’re okay. Are you taking your CP courses now?

the only other CP class i am taking is Precalc. everything else is ap/honors. buump

should i take a community college course to make up for tis. will it improve my cahcnes at all?
