Between the two physical science classes, which is more forgiving for someone who knows next to nothing about them? Thanks in advance.
What I heard from DD is that Chemistry lab is a bear, taking many hours of prep and write up time. Physics labs were done and turned in during the 3 hour slot so much easier in that regard. Otherwise I think they’re both pretty rigorous, even the non honors versions. DD, who fancied herself a physics major (2 years of HS physics although no AP) did quite mediocre in the regular physics sequence and is no longer a physics major.

PHSC electives are easier than both if you aren’t in a major that requires physics or chem’s intro sequence
@ScrnNme my D is opting for PHSC courses - there are quite a few that sound really cool. Just keep in mind that the pairing is pretty strict - if you take one, you need to take an acceptable pairing for both to count for the Core. You can read about it here:
