<p>A 550kg car traveling at 24.0m/s collides head on with a 680kg pick up truck.?
Both vehicles come to a complete stop upon impact. What is the momentum of the car before collision?
What is the change in the car's momentum?
What is the change in the truck's momentum?
What is the velocity of the truck before collision?</p>

<p>I got #1 to be -13200 Ns
I got #3 to be -13200 Ns
I got #4 to be 19.4 m/s</p>

<p>Can't figure out #2!!!!!!! Is it 13200 Ns? Cause it comes to a stop? Almost seems TOO easy</p>

<p>Wouldn’t number 1 be 13200 Ns if the velocity was positive?
Then 2 would be -13200 Ns because Pf = 0.<br>
3 would be 0-13200 = -13200 Ns.
4 would be -19.4 m/s.</p>

<p>And yea, this is pretty easy. Usually the final velocity will not be 0.</p>
