Physics SATII: December or January?

I'm doing well in AP Physics B. Our school runs on a semester schedule, so I'm done with the class at the end of December. We're currently between electricity and magnetism in the course. According to the syllabus, we should be finishing up with waves and optics by the December SAT date, but we wouldn't touch atomic, nuclear, and quantum physics until after December 6. I did all of CB's practice problems online and only missed 1 of the questions from material we have covered.

Next semester, I'm going to take Physics C, but that would be no help for the SAT II.

Should I take the Physics SAT II in December or in January?

I might not know everything in time for the December exam, but I might forget a few things come January. January is the last date I can take an SAT for admissions.

Thanks...

It's probably different for everyone, but I don't think one month would be enough time to forget anything important, especially if you're taking another physics course. For me, at least. Maybe take the month in between to read an SAT prep book. That's what I'd do.
