physics

yea i know, calc physics isn't required for med schools but my major requires it. Anyways, i know some of you took calc based physics or AP Physics C and i was wondering, how much calc do you actually use? The reason im asking is b/c I suck at calc. Its the kind of subject where if you don't do problems for 3 days you pretty much forget everything. Do physics expect you to know a lot of calc, or will they review the calc that you need to know?

I'm in Physics C now, and the calculus you actually use in problem solving is fairly minimal. Mostly it is important to understand concepts, derive formulas, and relationships between physical phenomena, and even then it is usually simple differentiation and integration. Differential equations also make the occasional appearance.

Granted, my school only offers the mechanics half, so it is possible that there is more complex problem solving needed in the E&M portion.
