pianos

This might be a bit of a weird question, but...

a) Do they have pianos in the Houses?
b) If yes, then if you have no musical talent whatsoever, can you still play on them, or do people get annoyed?
c) Do people practice on them a lot, or are they usually available for free use?

There's on in the Avery piano room, and I've played on it a little before without people getting annoyed. They are...I guess, often free for use? But people do practice on them a lot. Depends on the time of day.

I don't know about the other houses, but at the very least there's a music building with quite a few pianos that anyone can use. I'd imagine there are usually pianos available there.

Every house has a piano (I'm 95% sure), and if you want, you can practice on them. People won't really get annoyed if you're practicing for the most part. However, the pianos in the houses aren't very good pianos. The music house, which is about a 5 minute walk from the north and south houses, has some good pianos and sound-isolated practice rooms (some of the practice rooms have active acoustic systems that can make it sound like you're in a concert hall, etc). It's also on 24-hour card access, so you can use it anytime you want. If you're coming to visit, send me a pm and I can show it to you.

Is there a music instructor on site as well? I'm not a great violinist (other things took over) but I'll still like to study in college.
