Picking a UCSC college!

<p>Hey guys, so I know that there have been similar posts that many people have been redirected to for asking this question but they seem to be a little dated (4 years old). So that being said, I was wondering which college would suit me best because I'm a little lost. :(</p>

<p>I'm an athletic/fit female but I don't want to be around shallow people
I reaaaally want to learn how to surf and get more into water sports
I have a passion for writing and plan on being a philosophy major
I don't have a problem with the drug or alcohol scenes
I listen to all kinds of music, and none of it annoys me
I'm really outgoing and would like to be in a friendly dorm
I'm open-minded and liberal
I also love artistic outside-of-the-box people</p>

<p>So here are the things that bother me:
Of course, shallow and generally stuck-up people
Judgmental people
Hard drugs
:/</p>

<p>If anyone else has questions about UCSC, feel free to leave them here!! :) :( </p>

<p>From <a href=“Undergraduate Colleges”>http://www.ucsc.edu/campus/colleges.html&lt;/a&gt; , you can get an idea of any special academic courses and seminars there are associated with each of the UCSC residential colleges.</p>
