Picking new housing -- need help!

guys, why are we being so cruel here?
i’ve had my share w/ roommates before college, and i have to say, if jshapiro feels like he would not be comfortable with his designated roommates, he has every right to change his assignment.
it’s not about whether the roommate is a life- threatener with guns stowed under a pillow. it’s about compatibility. i know people dismiss this as unimportant, but what can be more important when choosing housing& roommates?

i’ve had a roommate who was an incredibly nice girl- that i couldn’t stand because of our personality differences.
of course, we both tried to get along w/ as little problems as possible, but the point is, it was a miserable experience for both of us.

if jshapiro has such qualms/ doubts about his roommates, and has the opportunity to change his assignment, there is no reason why he shouldn’t take up on the chance.

How can he have such qualms/doubts if he hasn’t even met them?

lighten up guys…if he has a roommate that states they get up at 6am and this guy wants to sleep until 9am and doesn’t has classes until 10am, that is an issue that will be a problem from day 1. Same that roommate goes to bed at 11pm and that’s when he just gets going studying - also a problem. There may be other issues/concerns that he’s not willing to disclose that bother him.

Court if you want to go to RPCC for dinners (which is the better place for food IMO) and Mews if you want to go to Appel
