<p>I can't figure it out! I never recieved any e-mails regarding picking preferred classes. When is/was the deadline. How do I do it? </p>

<p>I was hoping a current incoming freshman would answer since my info is a few years old, but here goes. Freshmen register for classes through the mail. Packets with course selection instructions are mailed to students in early summer, I think my S got his in June. Students return the packets and then meet with their advisor and receive their schedules at orientation. Changes can be made at that time. You should probably call the admissions office to see if you should have received your packet by now, they are very helpful.</p>
<p>yeah.. that's old. they now do it online. go to your myUM account, the course preferences link is there. under both admissions checklist and student then academics. call admissions if you're still unable to fill it out.</p>
