mosby: well itz kinda traditional to have nose /toe rings...
though many girls nowadays dun really follow some of the more subtle practices, if itz cool they will do it on the name of tradition...(not all)
i am a culprit of it too!! :D

tongue rings are hot

not for rings but henna tattooing on hands etc in school if i am 'caught'

hehe you arent allowed mehendi at school either neha?

haha i'm terrified of needles. i approach piercings the same way i approach tattoos: by asking myself : "sure it'll look awesome now, but how trashy will it make you look in forty years when you're all saggy?" piercings just heal into bumps though so i guess it doesn't make that huge of an impact. :P

if i were to ever get a piercing though, i love how studs below the lower lip look.

such, u are not allowed in india!!! oh my god....
here, well there is nothing Official... some teachers dun mind, some object, specially when itz a lot and very dark ...... :D
thoug during fun fairs and all there henna stalls and they are very very popular

nope...but it doesnt really matter anymore since I AM OUT OF SCHOOL! YIPPPEEE! :)

what's mehendi ?

henna, itz a plant/tree. whose leaves u dry and make into powder...
the paste can be applied to body as tatoo or in hair for hair nourishment...

I can't have piercings because of TKD, I'm on the college team and to get any piercing would mean no sparring for weeks on end.

TKD?? taekwando?
wats sparring.....

I want my nipples, labret, tongue, navel, and left nostril done.

i still haven't pierced my ears, heh. i'd do my bellybutton but i don't really show my belly. plus im not allowed to have tattoos or piercings either.

neha, i was in the same position as you a while ago, but i decided to get my nose pierced. I really like it, and it didnt hurt at all. personally i think i'm a wimp and it hurt when the needle went in, but after that it was fine. THe only thing is changing the ring hurts, but i'm so glad i got it done. if you are thinking about it, figure out which nostril you want it on. maybe try putting bindi's on and walking around the house...but dont look in the mirror bc then you see your mirror image so its ont eh other side. you could try taking a digital photo with the bindi on either one, and picking which you like better.

Yep, TKD is taekwondo. Sparring is the controlled fighting you do in training.

haha.okay vaish.. thnx for the advice..... will think abt nose... lemme get some sets on my ears done first :p

I have two sets in my ears. Then I just got the cartilage in my upper right ear pierced today. I'm not sure if I'd get anything else though.

As much as I really hate to quote Maddox because it makes me look like an idiot, he addressed this issue pretty well:

Piercing- I don't know why people do it. Probably because all the losers around them do it. Not only does it cause pain, look anti-cool, and perpetuate infectious diseases, but it costs money too? Where do I sign? Getting yourself pierced is tantamount to paying someone to kick your ass. I'm not talking about ear piercing, but rather eye brows, lips, navals, genitals, etc. I'd never get a pierce unless it was totally outrageous like through my knee cap. At least then I'd be an original idiot.

well none of those places for me...... :p
