Pinned Threads

I've noticed that a few 2016ers have posted in the 2015 decisions thread, which is an understandable mistake, since it's pinned. How about an unscientific poll to see what everyone would like to pinned? I can see three possibilities:

(1) Pin the current admissions year's decisions thread.
(2) Pin a few (four or five) years' worth of decisions threads for perspective.
(3) Don't pin any decisions threads.

Comments?

I vote (1).
Who is in charge of this anyway?

I think the moderators do that. A while back the thread at the top was changed because it was about the coach fiasco that was OLD.

The Moderator Team is as “in charge” as it gets around here. I think one person raised the question of the “hot topic” and another went to the Mods after consensus was to change it. I was working with that model in mind.

I would go with (1) and then also pin a second thread that contains links to the threads from previous years. No need to link four or five old threads, that would get in the way more than be of actual use.

I saw the 2016 decisions thread pop up today and it reminded me of this thread. I asked the Admin to unpin the old thread and pin the new one.
