Pitt or Syracuse?

Another vote for Pitt. Pitt is a great city with a lot of things to do (sports, museums, lots of colleges). It’s questionable whether Syracuse kicks Pitt’s ass academically. Pitt is across the street from numerous hospitals, so anything medical is very strong. Pitt students used to be able to cross-register at Carnegie Mellon (not sure if still possible), so anything in science is strong. Free buses for college students, and lots of plays, concerts and shows downtown (I’m going to see Louis Black tonight). I doubt that either school is particularly strong nationally, if you planned on taking the degree to NYC, Chicago or Boston. After March Madness one of these schools might be a lot stronger though…GO PITT!

There was a student on these boards a few years ago who lost a generous Syracuse scholarship and had to drop out due to high cost. Whatever you decide, make sure that the conditions of the scholarship are clearly within your reach if money is a factor.

So both Pitt and 'Cuse are out of the tourney, what now? Lol, bump.

Second bump.
