I recently checked out Pitzer College and I love all their mottos. Each motto fully represented something that I believed in. Pitzer takes pride in its very active student body (social justice and environmental issues). I have some friends that go to Pitzer but they just post photos of parties that they go to. I was expecting to see more activity and a genuine desire to get involved in the community. Parties are fine. I enjoy one every once or twice myself but these are the only thing these folks can talk about since they've started. In short, I prioritize activism over parties and I don't know if the rest of the school agrees. Of course, these are only a few people that I know. This is not an accurate depiction of the entire school. Can any Pitzer kids answer this for me? Thanks.
