Cornell doesn’t have grade defflation. It doesn’t have inflation either. Cornell will prepare you fine. Medical schools take into account the school that you come from. Cornell is a tier 1 school. Rank 30 probably is as well (depending on the med school). A huge part of getting into medical school depends on YOU and what you do. Regarding the acceptance rates, I dont know what it is for the other IVYs… but dont forget unfortunately, as far as application stats go, cornell is probably dead last (or close) among the IVYs… so it’s not hard to believe that applicants from harvard, princeton, yale, columbia, upenn have higher stats applying to medical school as well.
