Im taking the placement next week but i have a question,I am in my late 20s and decided to go back to school. I've been taking the ACT Compass practice exam and it has 5 different sections and i did not take 2 of them in high school, will i still have to take them or do i only take a placement test in the sections that i did take in high school? This is what it says at the bottom of the practice test "In addition to the five mathematics placement tests, ACT Compass also offers 15 mathematics diagnostic tests: seven in pre-algebra and eight in algebra." Thanks for the help anyways i am just excited/nervous about going back and everyone around me thinks that it'll be a waist of time

Where are you taking this exam? At your college? Contact the testing office there, and ask how it works. They will be able to tell you which sections are covered.

Good luck!
