I heard a lot about how good the engineering school in University of Alabama-Huntsville is. I read in a lot of posts that a students who graduate get jobs at Defence agencies or NASA or other government orgs in that area.
But what about International students? The government does not hire Non-US citizens, does it? So what happens to the international students?

Wolfwing123: I am not familiar with this particular area of hiring, as my son is working on finance/economics degrees. So I shall refrain from answering and possibly giving wrong information to you.
I don’t know that much about hiring in regards to int’l students. The gov’t usually does not hire int’ls. HOwever, there are many non-gov’t companies near UAH. I suggest that you contact UAH Eng’g for answers.

Does anybody know EADS, for example, takes internationals for co-ops or internships, whether they can do OPT there, and whether they can ultimately be hired there?
