can anyone recommend me some good places to live in the San Fernando Valley area?
"good" as in not ghetto/sketchy like East San Jose, East Palo Alto, or Oakland.
I'd like to avoid areas like that.
Thanks in Advance!

Disregard my last post on the other thread. I’d stay in Northridge if I were you. There are many apartments across from the school, some are actually really nice. Northridge doesn’t seem ghetto to me, I’ve lived in Long Beach/Lakewood/Lancaster/Palmdale. Now THOSE places are GHETTO. Especially Lancaster/Palmdale. But back on topic; I think your best interest would be to move in an apartment (with other people of course; unless you make enough to get one by yourself). I’ve searched around a couple of times for apartments with other people and they don’t charge as much (mainly because they’re sharing the apartment). When are you moving down? I know in the summer time the rooms for apartments are a lot cheaper like $300 and below.

I’m coming from East San Jose, and I’d say it’s pretty ghetto here. So I’ll take your word for it. When I toured the campus and drove around the Northridge/CSUN area, it didnt even look half as bad as East SJ.

I definitely don’t make enough to rent an apartment to myself, let alone a 2 Bedroom for my sister and I. So the rent max would probably have to be $1100. I think we’re moving at the end of July.

haha i need to find a place too… except i’m from Napa

@Tempo90 haha nice, i found some suggestions from other forums in case you needed help too
