Plan II/Engineering Dual Major

<p>I just saw this thing on the engineering Honors website, but I couldn't find much more information from it. </p>

<p>I got into the Engineering Honors program, but I did not apply for Plan II. AM I still qualified enough to take this major? I saw on the website that Plan II students could do this without being accepted into the Engineering Honors Program, so does it work vice versa? I plan to do biomedical engineering, and then go on to either med school or a technical grad school, if that makes a difference.</p>

<p>You have to apply to transfer into Plan II, which you can do after your fall semester. Just keep your grades up, and I think you should have a pretty good chance. I know several people who transferred into Plan II after enrolling at UT, and being in engi honors means you're obviously smart enough to do it. Just make sure you have a clear reason for why you want to be in Plan II.</p>
