Planet X/Nibiru--Colliding with Earth?!y

So, I don't know if anybody knows about this,..

but apparently this is a "planet" that's bigger than Earth that apparently passes by Earth every 3600 years...and is expected to do so in 2012.

If this is in fact real, most human life will be wiped out...

The Mayan's predicted the apocalypse of mankind on Dec. 21, 2012 (or maybe their calendar just ended then.)

What do you all think? Fact or fiction? Thoughts?

If this is real, then I'm going to start living MUCH differently!

No. That will not happen.

I'll believe it when I see the telescope photograph...

yay, i'll be out of college by 2012. i'm going to buy a fancy camera to take pretty pictures of the planet coming to kill us. ;)

it's kind of interesting... but nostradamus was a hack (if you predict 80,000 really vague events, people are going to then interpret them to match a couple of real events).
I think the mayan perspective on it is interesting, but it's not going to happen. just like people thought 6/6/06 was the end of the world, people are going to make predictions for this, too.

Look at this though:

Thousands of people worldwide seek answers about Planet X .

absolutely will not and cannot physically happen

Planet X: the facts, the myths

then again, i could just be a NASA g-man trying to SILENCE THE TRUTH

lol. lol. rofl.

COME ... ON ... This is a college site. Is Velikovsky next?

The mayans DID predict their own demise, to the T.

Well, needn't worry too much.

One day, while you are sitting there listening to a professor lecture, and the Earth and a cosmic particle collide, you will not know what hit you, pardon the pun.

We will vaporize in not even milliseconds of the impact.

Maybe we can use one of those new GLAD bags or something.

I believe by that time we have technology advanced to enough to either change its orbit or move us to another planet. Moving to another planet isn't a bad idea, we are polluting the air and vitiating the earth every single minute. But like others say, it likely won't happen.

hope that it was only a fiction

are you kidding me?

^ my thoughts exactly.

What would you call the people/inhabitants of Nibaru?

More important- do they know how to cook?

My question is: How come it didn’t get us on the last pass in 1048 BC?

SkyHigh: No planet will even be close to Earth as a home for life, even if the current rate of pollution goes on for centuries.

Personally planet x is most likely out there on the fringes of our solar system shure…But really people how many times has someone or some group of people have said that the world will end on a certain date(y2k.etc) what is the Mayan calendar was only the end of a certain period in human history and is the beginning of a time of prosperity for humans …think of it like this people get scared that the world will end right…ok now what do the world leaders try to do? make peace to ensure that humans survive. than after so called apocalypse doesn’t happens on dec 21 2012. then they finally realize that there can be peace and thus begins a new golden age for humanity…
what do you guys think???
