Please advise

Hello,

My name is Diana, I am beginning my 6th year at a 2nd-tier college. I have a cumulative GPA of a 2.85. My GPA at the start of last year was a 2.2, so I have made some significant improvements. I however would like to go to graduate school. I have great recommendation letters and lab experience (I majored in Psychology). I am concerned that because of my low GPA no one will even consider me for any type of graduate program (law, ma in psychology). Technically, to date I have completed my BA in Psychology, but am currently pursuing my BS degree instead, in hopes of giving me some more time to raise my GPA. Is this a good idea? should I just pick up another minor in something easier then taking sciences classes for my BS? In addition, I am yet to take my GREs.

Any help is really really appreciated.
