Please Chance for "International" Duke ED

Hi guys,

So I was thinking about applying ED to Duke. But I'm in a real fix because of my immigration status. Although I have been going to school in America since 5th grade, my family has yet to receive permanent residence. We have applied for it years ago but have still not received it due to a long wait (In other words, I am not an illegal immigrant ). So, when I visited Duke a couple of weeks ago, they said my application would be considered "international".

This wouldn't be as big a problem if I did not need financial aid. Unfortunately, this is not the case. I will have to request financial aid and Duke has said that it will consider financial aid in the admission process if a student is international.

So, based on these situations, I was wondering if any of you could please chance me for ED to Duke.

THANKS A LOT EVERYONE! I TRULY APPRECIATE ALL YOUR HELP!

Can someone please chance me?

I think you seem good. Since it’s early decision your chances go up! I was thinking ED Duke too, but i’m not really sure if I want to leave California… So I’m just going to do Regular Decision since I have a bunch of fee waivers for privates and whatnot :D

Thank you! Does anyone else have some input?
