<p>School: Competitive day/boarding College Prep School, well-known but not on Exeter's level haha. since sophomore year.
GPA: 3.71 UW, 4.1 W. Grades are mostly B+/A- but got B- (first semester) and C+ (second semester, year average) in Chem Honors this year. :( :( :( The teacher was SO unhelpful. nobody understood that class. </p>
<p>AP classes not offered for frosh or sophomore year, though the honors classes are almost on the same level. Junior year AP's: English Language, US History. Probably got 4's on AP tests.
Planned Senor year AP's: English Literature, US Gov't, Spanish V.

<p>EC's:
Hunter Jumper (3'0") Horseback riding for the past 5 years, once/twice a week. Retrained an ex-racehorse. Competed only locally (due to family finances), several champion and reserve champion awards, 3rd place High Point award for my division. </p>
<p>Dancing (Modern/Contemporary/Ballet) for the past 5 years, 5 days a week at school. Choreographed for Student Showcase twice, attended a two-week workshop with a renowned dance academy (audition only) and a four hour training session (at school) with two dancers from Cirque Du Soleil. Also perform every 3 months with a Lyrical Dance group at my church</p>

--Future Business Leaders of America (president/founder)- 1 year, mostly fundraising. (little interest, had to drag my friends to the meetings)
--Book Club (Creative writing and reading)... (member for 1 year, secretary this year, was asked to be co-President next year), writing, reading, fundraising. (((For any other bookworms- John Green is INCREDIBLE!! Love his work.)))
--Equestrian Club (president/founder)-1 year, volunteering, fundraising
--Humane Society- 3 years. volunteering, fundraising.</p>
<p>Volunteering-
-Humane Society, 20+hrs
-At a hippo-therapy center (physical therapy for special needs kids using horses), I organize volunteer days with my Equestrian club. 15 hrs.
-At a kids' camp at a science and history museum, organizing/planning activities, watching/helping kids. 200 hours. </p>
<p>Other:
Pet sitting Business- very successful, $200+ a month, almost five days a week I'm taking care of neighbor's pets. It certainly has taught me to manage my time and finances! </p>
<p>I also went on an one week Orphanage Outreach trip to the Dominican Republic where we taught English and helped clean up an orphanage. ~60 hours of community service.</p>

Outstanding Academic Award- Spanish 2. 2010 (this was at a huge public school, and very few freshmen took Spanish 2)
