oh..and could you suggest any SAT and ACT prep methods?

Not to be extremely picky, but a forum like this one uses the same textarea boxes for posts and replies that the online app uses for your short answer questions. Surely someone as intelligent as you could definitely write in neater sentences without too much extra effort.

The only thing else I have to say is not to worry about it.

So you plan on taking 18 more AP tests in 2 years? Wow, for what reason? Know that there is no formula for acceptance to MIT. If you want to represent yourself through AP classes that’s definitely fine, but it’s not a sure-fire way into the college of your dreams…by any means.

In 10th grade, there’s really no way to accurately chance. My advice? From knowing someone who was admitted to MIT and Harvard with a 3.3 gpa, science olympiads and math competitions are the way to go. I’m sure if you dedicated the time into those instead of taking 18 more ap classes, your chances of getting in would increase phenomenally.

Taking those 18 aps is in a way safer than olympiads. Competitions are something you can’t control as well as you can your classes, and doing very well in those seems to be stronger on your application
