bumppp
please :)

haha i’m applying to like half of the college on your list. east coast, ftw!!! colgate looks like a match for you.

I’d say that Colgate is more of a slight reach since your SAT scores are a bit lower than the average applicant, but the key word is slight. If your scores go up I would say that you have a decent chance at all of those schools and could expect to be accepted to about half of those schools.

There is not one school on that list where I’m like, “WHOA he wont get in there”. The reason is that you have legit chances at all the schools on your list, which is good. Colgate ED is probably a good choice, and youll very likely get in.

Great, thanks so much for the replies!! Anyone else?

Greater Boston metro area is considered the best college experience anywhere with half a million college students and scores of top colleges so I would focus on BC, BU, Holy Cross

Yeah, I love a lot of the Boston schools. The only thing is that I’ve lived just outside of Boston for my entire life. So, I’d rather go to a school that’s a little bit further away. I am still applying to a few Boston schools though.
Anyone else want to chance me? Thanks!!

My question for you is, do you really like all of the schools on your list? Your list is pretty hefty at 15 schools, yet they vary greatly. Colgate and Bates are very rustic and isolated, whereas BU is the quintessential city school. I don’t really get how you can love Colgate enough to do ED, yet you also like BU. I’m not saying it’s not possible lol, just unlikely. Honestly, I would narrow that list down a bit. If you can get your SAT up like 100 points, focusing on math/reading, you should maybe add a nice reach like Tufts. I would just make sure that you like all the schools you apply to, otherwise that’s a waste of money :/.

That’s definitely true. In terms of BU, I really thought I would hate it but when I visited I liked it because it has more of a campus than you would think. I’m a person who will be pretty happy anywhere… which is good but it also makes it hard to lower down the list! Thanks for your advice.
Anyone else what to chance? :)
