Industrial Engineering

Go to UMich then if you get in, otherwise GT.

But since Gtech is ranked higher, shouldnt it be my first choice??
So are you recommending Umich because it is a good school in almost all majors, not only engineering, and because it would have more diversity??

Please, anyone?

Don't choose based on rankings when all your offers are in, please.

Tetrisfan ,I've got into both Purdue and UIUC, where should I go??

Purdue $35K
UIUC $45k

Does one of these give better job opportunities or scholarships for internationals??

Also, which has a stronger indian community?

If you intend to go to grad school, then pick Purdue. Else go for UIUC.

Hmmm, I wonder how I was told that U-mich is a reach for me when I have a 1940 SAT and a 3.8 gpa.

50 points take you from a reach to a high match?

i believe that his international status gives him the upper hand...but of course i could be wrong since some schools are blind to whether you are an int' student or not.
