<p>Hi! Could anyone please chance me for Georgetown, Vanderbilt, BC, and Bucknell. I would be applying as a pre-med/ bio major and will likely apply EA to Georgetown. Any advice is welcome- thanks!</p>

<p>PSAT- 1890: 610 reading, 610 math, 640 writing </p>

<p>SAT (1st time)- 1920: 660 reading, 640 math, 620 writing</p>

<p>ACT composite- 31</p>

<p>9th:
All advanced classes and required electives (As in everything, except A- in geometry)</p>

<p>10th:
Acc. Pre-calc, honors English, honors Spanish 4, honors bio, honors chemistry, honors mw history, photo 2 and other required electives (all As besides A- in precalc)</p>

<p>Current 11th classes:
Ap bio (A-) ap physics (B), ap lang, honors gov, honors Spanish 4 (A), calc 1, photo 3, and yearbook(A)</p>

<p>Likely 12th classes:
Ap Spanish, ap stat, ap chem, anatomy, honors global relations, honors English </p>

<p>Current GPA (w): 4.215</p>

<p>Everything looks solid, but I have two pieces of advice:

[<em>] Don’t send in your SAT score. It’s below average at some of those schools, and your ACT score is perfectly adequate.
[</em>] Don’t mark down on your application that you’re 25% Asian. 25% of an ethnicity counts for basically nothing in the college admissions process, and, more importantly, Asians are an over-represented minority, so you’ll have a more difficult time getting accepted to top schools if you say you’re Asian.

<p>Here are your chances, in my opinion:
Vanderbilt - high reach (shoot for 32+ on the ACT to have a greater chance)
Georgetown - low reach
BC - high match
Bucknell - low match </p>
