Please chance me for Johns Hopkins!

Hello I am currently a freshman at Penn State University majoring in "energy business and finance" and I am going to apply to a few schools this fall in the beginning of my sophomore year to transfer in as a junior. (I chose PSU because I really didn't know what I wanted to study and it's not to far from home) I have always wanted to go to Johns Hopkins (I visited there today) but I know admissions are very selective. I think I would be a strong candidate for Hopkins as a transfer. They have a major very similar to mine as well. Here are my stats.

Stats
-College GPA: 3.8
-36 credits from freshman year
-Essays will be of high caliber
-2-3 very strong letters of recommendation from close professors
-Enrolled in the Penn State honors college
-Dean's List both semesters
-Penn State Superior Academic Achievement Award

E.C.'s
-Residential Advisor
-Tutor at the writing center
-Residence Hall Council
-Political Science Club
-Ski and snowboard club
-Penn State Honors Society
-Volunteer at the salvation army
-Volunteer at habitat for humanity
-Volunteer coaching
-Volunteer at local state park doing environmental work
-A good amount of international experience in the past
-International Volunteer work in Belize this upcoming summer
-Research in energy economics at the University (hopefully happening next year)
-Internship at Peco Energy (Philadelphia Pa)
-Intern and employee at local psychology firm 3 consecutive summers throughout high school
-Play the piano and baseball

Other factors
-White (Caucasian)
-Family Income $250,000 per year (no financial aid needed)
-Both parents have college degrees
-I want to transfer to a school with a more learning focused environment
-I also prefer to be in the city.

-I know my e.c.'s aren't very focused right now but I am going to work hard to get them focused next year. If you do not believe I am qualified please leave some advice as to how I could better qualify myself! (improve my transcripts and e.c.'s and what not)

-Please chance me and thanks for your time!

Some help would be really appreciated:)

Bump Bump Bump

bumpity for the love of god

Hmm I’m not really versed in what looks good for transfer students so I can’t help you that much. Nothing sticks out as needing desperate improvement so that’s a good thing! Sorry that wasn’t much help at all:( Best regards and Happy Easter! Thank Jesus for the sacrifice He made so we can live!

Just got back from church! Happy Easter to you as well and you do the same:)

Thanks a lot for the advice. I have very good reasons for transferring in my opinion and about 3/4 of the e.c.s are from college, the only ones that aren’t are the coaching, international work, and the environmental work. Next year my e.c.'s will be much more focused.(traveling to conferences and doing research in my major) so that will definitely help. I get what you mean about the essays. I think they can be subjective all depending on who is reading them.

bumpin bump

bump please chance me other people

bumping for more chances

I would love some more chances everyone!

please chance me guys
