<p>I'm an instate applicant. Both of my parents and my grandfather went to UNC Chapel Hill, but I don't think legacies hold a lot of weight at UNC. For NC State I applied into Human Biology which falls under Life Sciences.</p>

<p>Mostly honors classes FR-SO yrs. All honors/AP JR-SR.</p>

<p>I’ll have taken 4/7 offered AP classes at my school by graduation, and at least 5 AP exams. I’ve also got a 4.0 on my college GPA for my dual enrollment distance learning class at UNC Greensboro.</p>

<p>GPA and class rank is very commendable, though SATs are pretty low for UNC even instate. I think you maybe could get into NC State, low reach and UNC high reach. Good luck!
