My GPA went from a 3.3 freshman year, to a 4.6 junior year! I think the improvement will help. can you chance me?
I can’t chance you because nobody really knows for sure, but your GPA and test scores are on track! The Stern students I’ve met from the incoming Class of 2019 make had quite similar scores. Keep maintaining that GPA curve!
What I’ve found is that a lot of the Stern students who received scholarships (indicating that the admissions officers were particularly impressed by them) pursued some sort of social entrepreneurship business, where they sold a certain product or worked with a local business to raise money for a cause that is important to them. Some students even started their own small NGO! Of course, you do not necessarily have to do this. Stern looks for drive, and successful completion of something you are passionate about could really help you stand out. Not to mention, it would also just be something fulfilling to do.
