Recommendations:
Teacher 1: Very good. He wrote my rec for ANNpower and it was incredible. I owe so much of who I am as a person to him.
Teacher 2: good, not anything spectacular: due to a scheduling conflict, I ended up taking two courses in one class period because I wanted to finish out AP latin, so she wrote about my tenacity as a student as well as my participation and involvement as an officer for the club.
Counselor: Very good. I have a great relationship with my counselor.

Side Note: if anyone has any comments about the financial aid they may offer me, this would be greatly appreciated. Our taxes come off as affluent, but our wealth is not liquid, so we don’t have a lot of money in reality. My brother is also in college and fronting the full tuition, so the NYU pricetag is fairly hefty for what we can handle right now.

I would say you have a pretty good shot at being admitted! you have decent standardized testing scores, a lot of good leadership positions, and your ECs are interesting. the only downside I noticed was your AP bio score of 3, since you might intend on majoring in it. but I wouldn’t worry about this too much, as it’s not something you have any control over right now.
looking at the bigger picture, you got this! don’t doubt yourself.
and for FA, I would look at NYU’s specific Net Price Calculator

brilliant! I had an idea about this, but it is nice to have some reassurance. I did not know they had a net price calculator, so that is definitely something I will research more into!! Thanks so much for taking the time to respond
