I absolutely love GW, I was hoping to apply Early Decision I but ultimately decided that it would be best to apply ED II so that my first quarter grades would be considered, as well as (hopefully) better SAT scores, since I will be taking it for the last time next week.
Here are my stats:
- only 2 classes were not honors or AP since freshman year (+2 honors taken in 8th grade)
- 10 AP classes by graduation
- I’ve completed 5 AP courses tested them each so far (AP Human Geography (4), AP World History(4), AP English
Language (5), AP Physics (2-whoops), AP US History (4))
- I’ve completed 5 AP courses tested them each so far (AP Human Geography (4), AP World History(4), AP English
- my school only does weighted GPA and it’s a 4.1
- top 25%
- SAT I Composite: 1930 (650 CR, 680 M, 600 W)
- Senior year course load (I had all A’s the first term):
AP French 5
AP US Government
AP Calculus
AP English Literature
AP Biology
German 1
Honors Spanish 3 - Essays: Hopefully they’re strong, I’m getting TONS of feedback from my teachers, counselor, and friends
- Recs: didn’t read them, but hopefully they’re good! From my AP English Lang teacher, APHuG/APWorld teacher, and
counselor - Extracurriculars: Girl Scouts for 12 years (silver award), Vice president of future problem solvers, Vice president of Partners In Education Club (we tutor 3-5 graders), advocate for invisible children, Chemistry club, MUN, Interact Club, French Club, World Culture Club
- Awards: National Honor Society, AP Scholar, some school awards
I hope to apply to the Eliot School of International Affairs. Also, should i take SAT II Subject tests??
