SAT-2050 (650 CR, 710 M, 690 W), plan to test once more to get scores up
SAT Subjects- haven't taken any yet but plan to take: Math II (800 on practice), US history, and Spanish</p>

<p>I'm a pretty good writer and I have some good essay ideas so my essays will be good. </p>

<p>I have a part-time job working 20-25 hours a week at a local library. </p>

<p>I also served on the OKC youth council which is like a gov't/leadership program for 18 kids from the whole city</p>

<p>I was just elected to a youth community service board in OKC. I've volunteered as a political campaign intern and at Feed the Children. I am also set up to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity this summer. </p>

<p>I am paging at the state capitol for the President pro-tempore over spring break. </p>

<p>I will be in a mentorship program my senior year in politics or business</p>

<p>I will have college credit for macroeconomics and calculus from OCU</p>

<p>I can get excellent letters of rec. </p>

<p>My interests include history, politics, government, humanities, literature, music, international studies, economics, business, and volunteering. </p>

<p>Now, can I get in, and if not, what can I do to improve my chances.

<p>Scores are weak. Grades and core academics are strong. Your EC's make me wonder: Everyone lists MUN and whatnot, but considering your huge number of other things, I somehow doubt the depth of involvement with any of them...</p>

<p>You're above the threshold where they throw away your application, but you're definitely not sure to get in either. Good luck!</p>

<p>your stats are ok. 32 is a good score for NU. 800 on mathII is good and another one over 750 will look good.
somebody said that ur overabundance of EC's looks fishy. i agree. i don't see any real focus. ur all over the place. don't just put a bunch of clubs cuz u think it'll look good. right good essays and u have a decent shot. right now, low reach</p>
